No, all US mutual funds are 5 letter symbols ending in X (VALBX, GARFX, ICTWX, etc.). Symbols that end in XX would mean it is a Money Market fund.

Yes, you can as long as you cancel the order prior to 4:00 PM EST. Go to the “My portfolio” tab and select “Order History” from the sub-menu. From this page select all or open orders and you can cancel the order.

The order will say you have 0 quantity to purchase because the order price is undetermined until settlement at 6:00 PM EST. You will get the amount in $ you asked for, but the quantity is undetermined until settlement.
