Fall 2025 Lesson Update

lesson update

StockTrak is excited to announce an update to our Personal Finance lesson library ahead of the Fall 2025 semester. In addition to our routine annual update of facts and figures across our entire lesson library, we have 3 exciting updates to share:

New Financial Math Lessons

Our Financial Math selection of lessons has been overhauled, with 7 new lessons diving into more concrete math examples, along with interactive calculators and charts to help illustrate.

New lessons include:

These lessons can be added to an Assignment on any StockTrak class, found in our Financial Math unit.

Updated Calculators

In addition to new financial math lessons, existing lessons that include an embedded calculator have also been updated to new, more robust versions. This includes our “Saving to be a Millionaire” calculator, “Rent vs Buy” calculator, and “Compound Interest” calculator, with others slated for upgrades before the end of August 2025.

Lesson Name Update

Our library of Personal Finance lessons is also getting a major facelift, with new titles and descriptions for virtually every lesson to more accurately reflect the dynamics of personal finance. The core content of each lesson has not changed (besides annual updates to facts and figures).

The update to the names and descriptions will not prevent professors from copying assignments from previous classes – the new names map exactly to the old names, so copying will be unaffected.
